What is Coming Home?
Coming Home is a relaxed networking event designed to connect local employers with talented individuals. Established in 2019 during Central Michigan University's Homecoming, this event aims to link alumni with local employment opportunities. Our mission is to showcase the incredible job prospects available in the area, making it clear to young professionals that their dream careers are right here at home.
Coming Home
This year's coming home event will take place on October 11th at Courtyard by Marriott in Mt. Pleasant, MI, (2400 E Campus Dr, Mount Pleasant, MI 48858)
Career Seeker's registering in advance are asked to provide resumes. Those resumes will be offered to all businesses prior to the event, so that they can prepare to connect with individuals who seem to be a good fit for their company.
Employers will be stationed at high-top tables throughout the venue, and we encourage networking with event attendees (Career Seeker's). Each table will showcase signage for the business the Employer represents to make it simple for the young Career Seeker's to identify businesses that are the best fit for their interests and skills.
